Let me explain why I haven't been able to do a trip post yet. We got home latish on Monday night. Next morning we had to get up early again to get sittingduck1313 to the airport for his flight back to VA. Then Ary went to work and I went to pick up Chocolate from the vet and run a few errands before I went to work. That night was book club, which was pretty good, but got me home late, again.

Wednesday was a full day at work, and everyone was tense cos the CEO of our company was planning to drop in that afternoon. I was trying my darnedest to get caught up with all the work that had piled up, including the monthly and quarterly reports, both due by the 15th, and on top of that my period started. Have had a really hard time controlling my cramps this time; is somewhat worrisome.

Wednesday evening tiggertailz arrived with her cats in tow. Having had no luck with the job market in Atlanta, she is temporarily moving in with her sister near Chattanooga to look for work in TN. We said we'd help, so we now have three cats camped out in our library, making a total of 6 cats in our two bedroom apartment! So far, so good, though. They seem to be settling in pretty well and haven't gone stir crazy yet. And they are all sweet and friendly (Mamo-chan is demanding pettings at the moment), and Rhianna only hissed a little when she snuck in and met Kura (who stared cluelessly at her).

Today we were supposed to have the CEO attend case conference, but he pretty much took over and replaced case conference. And when some of our squeaky wheels started asking questions, like how are you going to get us better name recgonition, and what are you going to do about our benefits package to make it more desirable to new hires (it kinda stinks right now), and when are we going to get computer charting, he carefully danced around the questions and didn't really answer them. Kim figures when he retires he'll probably run for Congress.

So today was nearly a waste at work, cos even when I was able to do my own work, the people whom I needed to ask questions of were generally closeted with the CEO, who did not leave till almost five. And of course, the cramps were back. So tomorrow I have two more TAP audits to do, and maybe be able to enter them in the computer. And I also have a teleconference scheduled with a corporate PI, who is supposed to help me figure out what the heck it is I'm supposed to be doing with these monthly and quarterly reports, cos I haven't got a clue.

Maybe tomorrow afternoon I will get around to the trip report. Right now I am tired and sore, and will probably go to bed soon.
